The Los Angeles Lakers had some offensive difficulties in the final game of Monday's Summer League action.

The Lakers fell 67-58 to their crosstown rival after the game was delayed nearly an hour.

The Lakers went down 22-13 after the first quarter but a 18-10 advantage in the second quarter ensured that they would only enter halftime with a one-point deficit.

The Lakers kept it close in the second half but solid play from the Clippers kept them ahead. Jordan Miller led the Clippers with 19 points while three other starters reached double figures.

Bronny James played 20 minutes and scored 17 points while adding five assists and five rebounds.

Dalton Knecht had a less solid day with eight points, seven rebounds and two assists. He shot 3-of-14 overall and was 1-of-7 from three-point range.

Fans took to social media to comment on the second-year players' performances and project their potential for next season.

The Lakers fall to 1-2 with the loss but the promising game from James should soften the blow. On Knecht's end, the Lakers will hope he can step up going forward and show the promise that made him a first-round pick just over a year ago.

The Lakers will be back in action on Thursday when they take on the rival Boston Celtics. That game is set to tip-off at 9 p.m. ET.
