Hot Takes on Spurs' Dylan Harper vs. Jazz's Kyle Filipowski with Ace Bailey Out
Dylan Harper and the San Antonio Spurs won the best game of the Las Vegas Summer League in overtime over the Utah Jazz.
Harper scored 16 points, including two points on the game-tying shot in regulation.
Harper had to fight for his shots to go in most of the night. He went 5-for-16 from the field and went 1-for-4 from three-point range.
Undrafted rookie Riley Minix nailed the game-winning jumper for the Spurs in overtime.
Kyle Filipowski starred for the Jazz in the losing effort with 35 points. The second-year player added 11 rebounds, an assist and a steal to his stat line.
All five Jazz starters finished in double figures despite not having Ace Bailey on the floor once again due to injury.
Isaiah Collier recorded a double-double of his own with 16 points and 12 assists. He also had a huge block late in the fourth quarter.
The Spurs finish off pool play in Las Vegas on Thursday against the Charlotte Hornets. Utah will end its Summer League slate on Wednesday versus the Washington Wizards.
