Kyle Filipowski played like he was too good for the NBA Summer League level on Friday.
The second-year big man out of Duke turned in a stellar performance for the Utah Jazz against the Charlotte Hornets. Filipowski took over the starring role with Ace Bailey out due to a hip flexor.
Filipowski totaled 32 points, six rebounds and five assists in the defeat to Kon Knueppel and the Hornets.

Utah's other 2025 first-round pick Walter Clayton Jr. also had a strong game with 21 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Cody Williams and Isaiah Collier each eclipsed the 15-point mark as well for the Jazz, but it wasn't enough to fend off the Hornets.
Liam McNeeley was Charlotte's star with 22 points, 12 rebounds and six assists off the bench.
Charlotte's top draft pick, Kon Knueppel, struggled to get going on the offensive end with just five points in 30 minutes.
Utah returns to Summer League action on Sunday against the Golden State Warriors, while the Hornets face the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.
