Michael Jordan's Former Chicago-Area Mansion Available to Rent on Airbnb
You'll never be able to play basketball like Michael Jordan, but you could at least temporarily live like him.
For the right price.
David K. Li of NBC News reported the mansion the NBA legend once owned in Highland Park, Illinois, is now available to rent on Airbnb. The property owner, John Cooper, purchased the mansion for $9.5 million last year and is now listing it for rent.

"I am still considering many different uses for the property," Cooper said. "Some great uses require zoning relief, but in the meantime short-term rentals are a permitted use to bring exposure to the property and generate some revenue."
Kalan Hooks of ESPN noted guests must book the property for a minimum of seven nights and cannot have a party greater than 12 people. What's more, they must sign a liability waiver and nondisclosure agreement to go with a $25,000 security deposit.
According to Li, a weeklong stay from Aug. 29 to Sept. 5 would cost $120,920.
The Airbnb listing highlights the mansion's seven bedrooms, 17.5 bathrooms, "professional grade putting green," private fishing pond, infinity edge pool, movie theatre, full basketball court, wine cellar, salt water aquariums and cigar lounge.
It advertises that those who rent the property can "live like a legend!"
Hooks noted the mansion went on the market in Dec. 2013 for $29 million but didn't sell for 12 years and underwent a 67 percent price reduction.
