Michael Beasley Calls Out Carmelo Anthony for 1-on-1 Game, 'Throw the F--king Money'
BIG3 Basketball star Michael Beasley isn't taking the prospect of a one-on-one game against NBA legend Carmelo Anthony lightly.
During an episode of his 7PM in Brooklyn podcast last month, Anthony said, "I’m not losing a one-on-one game, bro. I'm not. I’ve never lost a one-on-one game. I’m not saying I’m going out there playing. What I’m saying is I got ridiculed for doing this s--t at the highest level, for being a one-on-one [player]."
Beasley responded during an episode of the BIG3's 3s and Ones podcast, declaring that he's ready to face Anthony at any time.
"If y'all really wanna jump on my f--king line with that s--t, we can really do it. We can really do it," Beasley said. "No cop outs. Throw the f--king money up."
Beasley recently defeated fellow BIG3 star Lance Stephenson 31-21 in a one-on-one game. Despite not having the NBA career that Anthony has had, the former Kansas State superstar found his niche in the upstart 3-on-3 league.
Fans would certainly be excited to see Anthony lace up his kicks once again to face Beasley, and this recent challenge could be enough to get him to answer the call.
