Hot Takes on Warriors' Isaiah Mobley vs. Spurs With Dylan Harper, Carter Bryant Out
The San Antonio Spurs were able to claim their first Summer League victory Sunday night with a 90-88 win over the Golden State Warriors.
The win came despite the absence of 2025 first-round picks Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant. Neither player has made an appearance in the Summer League yet, which frustrated several NBA Fans.
While the star talent wasn't present, the Spurs did get meaningful contributions from 15 different players. David Jones-Garcia led the team with 25 points while Omari Moore had 13, Jameer Nelson Jr. had 12 and Dexter Dennis had 10.
While the Warriors did not have a winning effort, fourth-year forward Isaiah Mobley did get a chance to flash his talent.
The brother of Cleveland Cavaliers forward Evan Mobley had 16 points and four rebounds while shooting 5-of-9.
Fans took to social media to call for the Warriors to sign and add Mobley to the roster.
Mobley comes to Golden State after spending the 2024-25 season in the Philadelphia 76ers organization. He scored six points and had five assists and four rebounds in 17 games in his lone appearance for Philadelphia. He is currently signed to the Warriors for the Summer League.
