Lakers' LeBron James Shares Golf Videos, Says Sport Is 'A Mind F--k to Say the Least'

Golf is frequently regarded as a very humbling sport, something LeBron James can attest to following his recent excursion on the course.

James shared videos of himself playing golf, writing on Instagram that it's "a mind f--k to say the least!"

James did note it was only his second day of trying to play golf. By that standard, he did pretty well. He's got some distance on the drive, even though his form is still a work in progress.

This isn't the first time James has attempted his hand at golf, though it might be his first time seriously dedicating himself to getting better.

The four-time NBA champion was featured in a 2013 Samsung commercial with Kevin Hart when his swing was in the same ballpark as Charles Barkley's.

As anyone who has tried golf before can tell you, the most important thing is to remind yourself to have fun initially because you're not going to be good for a long time.

LeBron's ability to drive the ball is an encouraging sign for his development. There are no clips of his iron play or short game, so we can assume those either aren't ready for public display or aren't something he is working on yet.

Given how much athletic ability we know James possesses from his NBA career, maybe he can carve out a future playing golf when he is done on the basketball court.
