Myles Turner Reportedly Received Below-Market Offers from Pacers Before Bucks Contract
The Milwaukee Bucks and center Myles Turner have agreed upon on a four-year, $107 million deal, ending his 10-season stint with the Indiana Pacers.
It was a rather stunning move after the Pacers just came one win away from taking their first NBA championship, coupled with Turner's decade-long time in town, but ESPN's Shams Charania offered some insight into why the big man left on NBA Today's free agency special (2:50 mark).

"Myles Turner believed he was getting below market value offers from the Pacers going into his free agency process," Charania said. "He wanted to stay in Indy. But once the door was opened for him, that's when the Milwaukee Bucks pounced."
Turner averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks last season.
Turner played an invaluable role in the team's amazing playoff run, which saw the Pacers beat the Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks in dramatic fashion en route to the NBA Finals. Indiana then took the 68-win Oklahoma City Thunder to the limit in the championship round before falling in seven.
The big man had some impressive moments and stretches along the way, such as when he averaged 22.0 PPG in the Pacers' final two wins against his new team, the Bucks in the first round.
He also dropped 23 points and five blocks in an amazing 120-119 comeback win over the Cavs in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, and Turner added 13 fourth-quarter points in a huge 114-109 win over the Knicks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Pacers' calling card this year was their depth not only down the rotation but throughout each position on the court, but that takes a big hit now with Turner out of town.
