Collin Murray-Boyles Applauded by Girlfriend Chloe Kitts at 2025 NBA Draft on Video

Collin Murray-Boyles had some strong support as he began his NBA career.

Murray-Boyles was selected with the ninth pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors. Following the selection, he shared an embrace with girlfriend Chloe Kitts.

Kitts is a current member of the South Carolina women's basketball team. Murray-Boyles was on the Gamecocks men's team.

Kitts is a standout for the Gamecocks and was on the program's NCAA Championship squad in 2023-24. She saw an increased role in 2024-25 and averaged 10.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 38 games for South Carolina.

She will have to wait at least another season before potentially hearing her name at the WNBA Draft as she is returning to the Gamecocks next season. Meanwhile, Murray-Boyles is officially headed north of the border.

He averaged 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Gamecocks in 2024-25. He was named All-SEC for his efforts as South Carolina slumped to a 12-20 season. He was a contributor to the program's 26-8 season in 2023-24, so he enters the NBA with some winning experience.

Murray-Boyles will join a Raptors team that went 30-52 and missed the postseason for the third consecutive year. He will join a core led by Scottie Barnes and R.J. Barrett and can hopefully contribute to improvement in the Eastern Conference.
