VJ Edgecombe, Jeremiah Fears Sign Multi-Year Adidas Shoe Contracts Before NBA Draft
Wednesday is a big day for VJ Edgecombe and Jeremiah Fears.
Not only will the two attend the NBA draft, where they're widely projected to be lottery picks, but they both signed multi-year shoe deals with Adidas.
“This is a family, and I’m going to keep doing whatever I can do within that to help grow the brand,” Edgecombe said.

“Three Stripes have been doing something special for a while now,” Fears said. “The relationship they have with their guys, and potentially having a signature shoe in the future was big.”
Edgecombe, who spent one season at Baylor, averaged 15 points and 5.6 boards per game in his lone year with the Bears. Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman projects the standout guard to be taken third overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in Wednesday's draft, and he is the third-ranked player on Bleacher Report's big board.
Fears, who spent the 2024-25 season at Oklahoma, put up 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game for the Sooners last year. Wasserman projects the New Orleans Pelicans to draft him at No. 7, and he's ranked 12th on the latest big board from B/R.
How their careers will unfold remains to be seen, but they'll begin their NBA journeys rocking Adidas.
