The top stars in the 2025 NBA draft class have started to make their way toward Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Duke star Cooper Flagg is the consensus No. 1 player on the board. For one of the biggest nights in his young career, he opted for a simple sartorial approach:
Maryland star Derik Queen joined Bailey in doing something special with the inner lining of his suit jacket:
Rutgers star Ace Bailey went much bolder:
Dylan Harper's suit might lack color variety, but it's in the smaller design choices where the Scarlet Knights star stands out:
Here's how some of the other top names showed up to the red carpet. Texas' Tre Johnson was another fashion standout:
For the second year in a row, the NBA draft is split over two nights. The first round will unfold on Wednesday with the second round to follow on Thursday.
The first two picks appear to be set in stone. Flagg will go first overall, and Bleacher Report's Jonathan Wasserman reported that "scouts can't envision anyone but Dylan Harper going second behind Flagg."
Beyond that, it could be a crapshoot, even by the typically unpredictable standards of any draft. NBA insider Jake Fischer spoke to one official from a Western Conference team who said "there's gonna be at least four or five" trades in the first round.
That's great to hear as a fan without any skin in the game but probably less pleasing for the prospects who are eagerly awaiting to know where they'll be starting their NBA career.
