Jalen Green Posts 'Blessings' Song in Photo After Reported Kevin Durant, Suns Trade

Jalen Green is heading to a new team, and he seems happy about the move.

After being traded from the Houston Rockets to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, Green posted the song "Blessings" by Nipsey Hussle on his Instagram story.

Green, the second overall pick by the Rockets in 2021, was sent to the Suns, along with Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 overall pick in this year's draft and five second-rounders in return for 15-time All-Star Kevin Durant.

Green has emerged as a budding star over the past few seasons and was outstanding this year, posting 21 points per game and leading Houston to the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

While Green and the Rockets were seemingly on their way to being a competitive team for years to come, he'll now get the chance to have a fresh start in Phoenix. He'll likely take on a bit of a different role since star shooting guard Devin Booker will presumably be the team's No. 1 scoring option, but Green should still be a major contributor.
