Giannis Tweet 'Uh Oh' After Kevin Durant Trade to Rockets amid Rumors
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo had a blunt reaction after Kevin Durant was reportedly traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets on Sunday.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Durant was dealt to the Rockets in exchange for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft and five second-round picks.

On May 12, Charania reported that Antetokounmpo was "open-minded about exploring whether his best long-term fit is remaining in Milwaukee or playing elsewhere" for the first time in his career.
Kelly Iko of The Athletic reported that the Bucks star was a "target" for the Rockets on June 3, although there was "uncertainty" whether he'd actually be available.
Instead, Houston landed Durant on Sunday.
A trade involving Antetokounmpo hasn't seemed likely as of late, with ESPN's Bobby Marks reporting Wednesday that "sources confirmed to ESPN that Milwaukee will be aggressively exploring options in free agency and trades to complement Antetokounmpo."
The two-time MVP also hasn't officially requested a trade from the Bucks.
Milwaukee hasn't advanced beyond the second round of the playoffs since its championship victory in 2021, while the organization's short-term outlook doesn't seem particularly promising with Damian Lillard likely missing a large chunk of the 2025-26 season while recovering from a torn Achilles.
Still, Antetokounmpo has remained one of the NBA's top players on both ends of the floor. He averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 60.1 percent from the field during his 2024-25 campaign.
After Antetokounmpo was involved in rumors surrounding a change of scenery to begin the Bucks' offseason, he was surprised to see a blockbuster deal involving Durant materialize on Sunday.
