Celtics' Jayson Tatum 'In Good Spirits' amid Achilles Injury Rehab, Says Torrey Craig
Torrey Craig provided an update on Saturday regarding Jayson Tatum's recovery from a torn Achilles
"It's good to see him in good spirits, joking and laughing around," he told The Garden Report with Bobby Manning and Noa Dalzell. "... I look forward to his recovery, the progress he's making, and it's always just good seeing him in good spirits.
It seems unlikely that Tatum will play much of the 2025-26 season, if at all, making the Celtics one of the more interesting teams to monitor this offseason. Boston was always likely to trim some payroll, with veterans like Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porziņģis candidates to potentially be traded, but now the team may be particularly aggressive in reworking the roster with Tatum out of commission.
For Boston, the important thing is getting Tatum back at 100 percent, even if that's a year from now. It sounds as though he's approaching his injury rehabilitation with the right mindset.
