Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton Says He'll Be Ready for NBA Finals Game 7 Amid Calf Injury
There is no uncertainty about Tyrese Haliburton's status for Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
Haliburton let it be known on Saturday that he'd be "ready" for Sunday night:
Haliburton was injured in Game 5 and was a game-time decision in Game 6. He ultimately played and helped lead Indiana to a 108-91 victory to force Game 7.
Haliburton scored 14 points and had five assists and a rebound in the win. It wasn't one of the dominant performance that he has put up in other postseason games but he still played a major role in claiming the victory.
He is averaging 17.7 points, nine assists and 5.6 rebounds in 22 games thus far in the postseason. If he is able to be close to fully recovered, he will be a tough stop for Oklahoma City.
Game 7 of the NBA Finals is set for Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. It is the first NBA Finals Game 7 since 2016.
