Features of LeBron's 'Dream Megamansion' Reportedly Revealed amid Construction
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is donning a hard hat for a portion of his offseason.
Kelsi Karruli of Realtor.com reported on June 12 that construction remains ongoing on James' "dream megamansion" in Beverly Hills, California.
The four-time MVP purchased the property for $36.8 million in 2020 and eventually razed the existing home before work on a new residence got underway in 2023.
"It's understood that the Lakers star has spared no expense on the property, which is expected to feature an array of lavish amenities, including a resort-style infinity pool, home theater, wine cellar, andโof courseโan indoor basketball court," Karruli wrote.
Karruli added that the home was "designed for maximum privacy."
The project is another reminder that James will probably retire as a member of the Lakers. He has resisted trade overtures in the past despite the franchise's struggles to chase another championship.
According to Karruli, the Beverly Hills home "is expected to serve as James' primary residence." Given all of the time and money he has poured into his palatial vision, it would be surprising if he lets it go unoccupied when it's completed.
