SGA Says Thunder 'So Far From the Finish Line' After NBA Finals Game 4 Win vs. Pacers
After the Oklahoma City Thunder’s fourth-quarter comeback victory in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Indiana Pacers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander acknowledged there’s plenty of work ahead.
"There's so much work to do... when we get there, we'll get there but we're still so far from the finish line," Gilgeous-Alexander said after the game.
In the victory, Gilgeous-Alexander scored 35 points on 50 percent shooting, including 15 points in the fourth quarter to help rally the Thunder to a 31-point final frame.
With the series evened at 2-2 after facing the threat of a 3-1 deficit, the MVP is taking the road to the championship one step at a time.
"It's a really good team on the other end and two wins against them is really hard," Gilgeous-Alexander continued. "We got to focus on one win, one position at a time, one quarter at a time, stack it all up and when we get there we'll get there."
Game 5 is scheduled for Monday in Oklahoma City.
