Haliburton led the Pacers with 17 points in Sunday's loss, though most of his production came when the game was already out of hand. He had 12 points in the fourth quarter after the Thunder built an insurmountable lead. He also wasn't able to get his teammates involved much, recording six assists against a game-high five turnovers.
Oklahoma City turned up its defense after its disappointing loss in Game 1 after Haliburton hit a game-winning jumper to complete Indiana's epic comeback. Luguentz Dort led the charge for the Thunder and did an excellent job in shutting Haliburton down for most of the game.
The Pacers are known for their depth, but Haliburton being less than 100 percent would be a massive blow to their hopes of winning their first NBA championship in franchise history. The 25-year-old is the initiator of Indiana's offense, and he's emerged as the face of the team during its magical playoff run.
Both teams will have a couple of days to rest before Wednesday's Game 3 in Indiana, so Haliburton will have a little extra time to heal up and be ready for the next matchup against Oklahoma City.
