Lakers' LeBron James Teases New Kendrick Lamar Song on IG, 'I Don't Give a F'

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James savored Kendrick Lamar's contribution on the upcoming album from the Clipse.

James posted an Instagram story quoting Lamar from his guest verse on "Chains & Whips," which hasn't yet seen the light of day.

GQ's Frazier Tharpe reported executives from Universal Music Group initially bristled at having Lamar included on "Chains & Whips" given his ongoing feud with Drake, which helped to spawn a lawsuit from Drake against UMG.

UMG owns Def Jam, which was slated to release Malice and Pusha T's newest collaboration, "Let God Sort 'Em Out." The Clipse's frustration with the handling of Lamar's verse, however, played a role in them leaving Def Jam altogether and signing with Roc Nation.

With Roc Nation now releasing "Let God Sort 'Em Out," Lamar's unedited bars will be part of "Chains & Whips."

Tharpe teased part of the verse by citing the line, "Therapy taught me how to open up/it also showed me I don't give a f--k."

The album drops July 11, and we can safely assume LeBron will be listening on Day 1, if he hasn't got an early peek before then.
