Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals is set to tip off in Oklahoma City on Thursday, June 5.
The Pacers clinched their spot in the championship series with a 125-108 Game 6 victory over the New York Knicks on Friday night in Indianapolis.
Pascal Siakam was named the Eastern Conference Finals MVP after averaging 24.8 points while shooting 52.4 percent from the field through six games.
He also posted a team-high 31 points on 10-for-18 shooting in the Game 6 victory.
Siakam received five out of nine votes by the media panel voting on the award. The other four, including former Pacers icon Reggie Miller, cast their votes for Tyrese Haliburton.
Haliburton forced overtime to stun the Knicks in Game 1, posted a triple-double in Game 4 and helped the Pacers close out the series with a dominant fourth quarter in Game 6.
The panel that voted on the Western Conference finals MVP was not nearly as split on which player should receive the award.
All nine voters named Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored at least 31 points in each Thunder win during against the Minnesota Timberwolves. That included a 34-point effort in Wednesday's series-clinching Game 5 victory.
The Thunder only lost one game to an Eastern Conference team this season, a Jan. 8 defeat by the Cleveland Cavaliers that Oklahoma City avenged in a rematch two weeks later.
The Pacers' fast-paced offense will need to overcome the Thunder's NBA-best defense in order to give Haliburton and Siakam a chance to battle it out for an MVP award in this upcoming series.
