Knicks Fan Paid Online Witch to Cast a Spell to Ensure Game 5 Win over Pacers
Desperate times call for desperate measures, as one New York Knicks fan proved by calling in help from supernatural forces before Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The fan revealed on Reddit that they paid for a witch, whose online business is set up through Etsy, to cast a spell that would ensure the Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers to keep their season alive.
Priestess Aurora's official page on Etsy advertises rituals, spells and psychic readings. There is also a separate section for "powerful spells and ritual," which includes 39 different items to choose from.
The fan's purchase was for the same day custom spell casting that comes with "powerful fast manifestation." That makes sense since the fan clearly needed it done before tipoff and his post announcing he enlisted witchcraft had a timestamp of 6:14 p.m. ET, less than two hours before tipoff.
It does speak to the power of Priestess Aurora that she was not only able to find the right spell, but put it into effect with enough time that it worked to perfection in a 111-94 win for New York.
Lest anyone out there be skeptical that these are dubious explanations for why they won, how else do you rationalize the Pacers being held under 100 points for the first time all postseason?
How does Karl-Anthony Towns go from being a game-time decision at 6:19 p.m. ET to not only being in the starting lineup, but putting up 24 points and 13 rebounds in 36 minutes?
Tyrese Haliburton was the first player in NBA playoff history with a triple-double of at least 30 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds without committing a single turnover in Game 4. He came back with just eight points, six assists and two rebounds on Thursday.
There are going to be a lot of stories about the Knicks changing up their defense on Haliburton, or Pacers role players not performing up to the standard they set in the previous four games as the reason for New York winning.
Real observers know the true hero for Game 5 was the fan who spent $8.48 to get Priestess Aurora to work her Knickscraft over Madison Square Garden.
The problem now is the fan has to keep buying spells because the Knicks are still down 3-2 in the series going back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Hopefully for his sake, Priestess Aurora's spells are strong enough to travel from New York to Indiana.
