Ben Stiller Tells Pat McAfee to 'Come to Game 5' After Call Out in Knicks-Pacers G4
Actor, filmmaker and New York Knicks superfan Ben Stiller has invited ESPN's Pat McAfee to Madison Square Garden for Game 5 of the Knicks' Eastern Conference Finals series against the Indiana Pacers after he (and other Knicks fans celebrities) were called out prior to Game 4 on Tuesday, when Indiana beat New York 130-121 to take a 3-1 matchup lead.
McAfee, who also works for WWE, used his wrestling promo and announcing skills to rile up the Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd before the game.
During that brief speech, McAfee had this to say in part.
“Indianapolis, Indiana, we got some bigwigs from the big city in the building. Spike Lee is here. Ben Stiller is here. Timothée Chalamet is here. Let’s send these sons of b---hes back to New York...”
Stiller didn't seem to love the moment.
Stiller certainly didn't love the result, which saw the Knicks trailing for nearly the entire game as Tyrese Haliburton torched New York for a 32-point, 15-assist, 12-rebound triple-double.
Now New York's season is on the brink Thursday. Game 5 will tip off at 8 p.m. ET from MSG.
