Tobias Harris Trolls 76ers Fans After Paul George Reveals Fan's Comments in Video

Paul George revealed during Monday's episode of Podcast P that while he was stuck in traffic following the Philadelphia Eagles' NFC Championship Game win in January, one fan shouted at him, "We coulda kept Tobias [Harris] if you gon' do this s--t," referencing George's struggles in his first season with the 76ers.

George later clarified that telling the story wasn't meant as a dig at Harris, but more to give people an idea of what it was like playing in front of the passionate but tough Philadelphia fanbase.

Harris, who was far from a fan favorite by the time his tenure with the team ended, was quick to clap back with the team's record following the Eagles' Super Bowl win and subsequent parade on Valentine's Day:

Harris, 32, spent six seasons with the Sixers, averaging 17.6 points per game with the team. Some of the frustrations from the fan base, however, came down to the fact that Harris spent much of that time playing under a five-year, $180 million extension, a star-level payday that was never quite matched by his play on the floor.

His final act with the Sixers in particular rubbed fans the wrong way, as he averaged just nine points in the team's first-round loss to the New York Knicks last season. He didn't register a single point in the decisive Game 6, only mustering two shots.

But Harris has had the most recent laugh, if not the last, as he helped lead the Detroit Pistons to the postseason this year while the Sixers battled through severe injuries and ultimately ended up as a lottery team, earning the No. 3 overall pick at June's NBA draft. Certainly, he got in quite the dig on social media this week.
