After being asked not to attend Indiana Pacers games following an incident with Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo earlier this postseason, John Haliburton reportedly will return to Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Game 4 against the New York Knicks.

ESPN's Shams Charania reported Tyrese Haliburton's father will be allowed to attend Pacers' home games again, starting with Game 4 on Tuesday. John Haliburton was not in attendance for the last eight games.

Charania noted that he still will not attend road games, but will be welcome at home games.

After Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers to a miraculous comeback and hit a series-ending game-winner against the Bucks in Game 5 of the first round, John Haliburton celebrated by confronting Antetokounmpo on the court. The two exchanged words, and a brief scrum between players from both sides followed.

Tyrese Haliburton said his father acted out of emotion after watching his son hit a game-winner, but clarified that he didn't think he was in the right.

"I don't agree with what transpired there from him," he told reporters. "I think basketball is basketball and let's keep it on the court. I think that he just got excited, saw his son make a game-winner and came on the court. ... I don't think that my pops was in the right at all there and it's unfortunate what happened at the end there."

John Haliburton also addressed his actions and apologized.

"It was in the moment," he said, per the Indianapolis Star's Dustin Dopirak. "It was in that dad proud moment. You know what I mean? And I just reacted because my son, he just did something very incredible, and I just jumped. ... Am I sorry for being proud of my son? No. No. I'm not going to tell you that because I'd be lying. But I was wrong for going on the basketball court, because I shouldn't have ever done that. Do I apologize for going on the court? Yes I do."

The exchange in the first round meant John Haliburton had to miss all of the Pacers' second-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he'll now get to watch some of the biggest games of his son's career in person.

Indiana won Game 1 in a thriller that featured a 14-point comeback in the final two and a half minutes.

The Pacers also took Game 2 before dropping Game 3 on Sunday. Now, they'll look to take a commandin
