French Open Betting Odds Revealed for Novak Djokovic, More to Win at Roland-Garros

Paul KasabianMay 23, 2025

Carlos Alcaraz is the favorite to win the French Open men's singles tournament at +100 odds, per DraftKings Sportsbook.

The rest of the top five includes Jannik Sinner (+225), Novak Djokovic (+1200), Alexander Zverev (+1800) and Lorenzo Musetti (+2500).

The quarter favorites are Sinner at -225 (first quarter), Djokovic at +250 (second quarter), Musetti at +160 and Alcaraz at -360.

Alcaraz is the defending French Open champion after defeating Alexander Zverev in five sets last year. The 22-year-old is a four-time Grand Slam singles winner, having also taken down Wimbledon in 2023 and 2024 and the U.S. Open in 2024.

He arrives at Roland Garros on a hot streak this clay season, reaching the finals of his last three tournaments at Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Rome. He beat Musetti in the finals at Monte Carlo before falling to Holger Rune in the finals at Barcelona. However, he saved his best for last in Rome, beating Sinner 7-6 (5), 6-1 in Rome leading into the French Open.

So it's clear why Alcaraz, the top clay men's tennis player in the world right now, per Tennis Abstract, is the favorite.

Sinner, as the clear World No. 1, isn't far behind Alcaraz in the odds for good reason. The 23-year-old has won the last two majors at the 2024 U.S. Open and the 2025 Australian Open. Soon after the latter win, Sinner sat three months due to a doping ban as part of a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency. He then fared well at the Italian Open before losing to Alcaraz.

As for Djokovic, no one can ever count the owner of a record 24 Grand Slam men's singles titles, including three French Opens (two in the past four years in 2021 and 2023). The 38-year-old did just go through an entire year without winning a major for the first time since 2017, but this is still a player who has gone to the quarterfinals, at worst, each year at the French Open since 2010.

Qualifiers continued Friday, with the first round set to begin Sunday.
