Imagine what the city will look like if the Knicks advance to the NBA Finals and go on to lift the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy.
For decades, this franchise was not only middling on the court but also failed to attract major stars despite having the advantages New York City offered. Kevin Durant summed it up perfectly in 2019 when he said, "The cool thing right now is not the Knicks."
