DraftKings Sportsbook listed the Thunder as a -375 favorite over the Minnesota Timberwolves (+300) in the upcoming conference finals. Oklahoma City was also listed as a -185 favorite to win the NBA Finals, followed by the New York Knicks (+490), Timberwolves (+600) and Indiana Pacers (+800).

The Thunder made an emphatic statement against the Nuggets on Sunday with a 125-93 win. Oklahoma City led by as many as 43 points and held Denver to 39.3 percent shooting from the field and 22.2 percent from three-point range. Thunder star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped a game-high 35 points in his final battle against fellow MVP finalist Nikola Jokic, who led the Nuggets with 20 points.

Oklahoma City established itself as one of the frontrunners for the 2025 NBA title throughout its incredible season. The team finished with the best record in the league at 68-14 and set a new NBA record with a point differential of +12.8. Despite being the youngest team in the league, the Thunder have proven that the future is now.

Getting through the Western Conference Finals won't be easy, as Oklahoma City and Minnesota split the regular-season series 2-2. The Timberwolves have peaked at the right time and are coming off a strong showing against the Golden State Warriors, who they eliminated in five games.

In the Eastern Conference, the Knicks are only a -148 favorite over the Pacers, who are a +126 underdog. New York is hoping to get some revenge after being eliminated by Indiana in last year's conference semifinals.

However, it's clear that the Thunder are viewed more favorably than any other team remaining in the quest for the 2025 NBA championship.
