Rudy Gobert Responds to Rumors About Relationship, 'A Lot of Inaccurate Information'

Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert has responded to rumors about the state of his relationship with Julia Bonilla.

In a post on Instagram, Gobert cited "a lot of inaccurate information" that has been making the rounds online and said that he and Bonilla are "in the painful process of re-defining our co-parenting relationship."

Gobert's statement comes after TMZ Sports reported on Friday that Gobert told Bonilla to move out of the couple's home and to take their one-year-old son with her around the time the NBA playoffs were starting.

TMZ noted Bonilla recently revealed she is pregnant with the couple's second child. The pair went public with their relationship in February 2024 after announcing they were expecting a child.

Bonilla also addressed the situation on Instagram, writing she was "going through one of the most painful times of my life" and that she was going to "prioritize my health and well-being."

Gobert said he is "fully committed to keep supporting the well-being of all the people that I care about."

Per TMZ, the breakup was considered a "surprise" since Bonilla and their son were in attendance at Minnesota's regular-season finale on April 13 against the Utah Jazz and Gobert embraced them after the game ended.

The Timberwolves opened the postseason on April 19 against the Los Angeles Lakers. Gobert has started each of their first 10 playoff games to this point.

Minnesota will take on the winner of the Denver Nuggets-Oklahoma City Thunder series in the Western Conference Finals. Game 1 will be played at either Denver or Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
