Aaron Gordon Reportedly 'In Doubt' for Nuggets vs. Thunder G7 with Hamstring Injury
The Denver Nuggets could be without a key piece for Game 7 of the Western Conference semi-finals on Sunday.
Shams Charania of ESPN reported that Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon has been diagnosed with a "left hamstring strain" and is "in doubt" for the team's matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Gordon suffered an injury in the final minutes of Game 6 and exited with 1:10 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Gordon averaged 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 51 games for the Nuggets during the regular season. He has averaged 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 13 playoff games and has served as an excellent secondary option behind Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray.
The Nuggets forced a Game 7 with a 119-107 victory over the Thunder in Game 6. It will be Denver's second consecutive Game 7 after narrowly defeating the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round.
With or without Gordon, Denver will look to advance to the Conference Finals when the game tips off at 3:30 p.m. ET.
