76ers' Jared McCain Showcases Nail Polish Collection in Social Media Video
Philadelphia 76ers guard Jared McCain is launching a line of nail polish in partnership with Sally Hansen.
McCain gave fans a look at the collection in a TikTok post shared Friday.
Sally Hansen previously announced the upcoming release of the five-shade collection, which is available through Amazon, on May 1.
McCain first partnered with the brand during his time at Duke. The former Blue Devils guard said when announcing the NIL deal in March 2024 that he started painting his nails to avoid biting them, but then "ended up playing really well" in his next game.
"I'm not crazy superstitious, but if I thought it looked nice, and I thought it helped me play better, and so far, it's worked. So I'm going to keep doing it, I guess," McCain said last March.
McCain continued painting his nails during his rookie NBA season, during which he earned a spot in the Sixers rotation by averaging 20.0 points and 3.2 assists per game over a 15-game stretch between Nov. 8 and Dec. 8.
McCain's rookie campaign and Rookie of the Year candidacy ended in December with a season-ending left knee injury. He returned to on-court work in April and hopes to fully recover from the injury, per Gina Mizell of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The Sixers will hope the return of McCain, alongside the decision to either use or trade the No. 3 pick of the upcoming draft, will help the franchise recover from a disappointing 24-58 season amid uncertainty regarding Joel Embiid's injury status.
