Updated NBA Playoff Bracket 2025 Picture Schedule After Nuggets Beat Thunder in G6

The Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder are headed to Game 7.

Denver came out on top in Thursday's Game 6 on its home court to send up a winner-take-all matchup on Sunday in Oklahoma City.

A second-half surge allowed the Nuggets to pull away by double digits and keep their season alive.

Sunday's Game 7 winner will advance to the Western Conference Finals to face the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Denver put together a tremendous second half to keep its season alive for at least one more game.

The Nuggets outscored the Thunder by 11 points in the third quarter. That frame ended with an offensive flurry highlighted by Julian Strawther.

Strawther came off the bench to score 15 points.

The contributions from Strawther, Russell Westbrook and Peyton Watson off the bench in the second half helped Denver maintain its advantage.

Denver's regular top scorers shined as well. Nikola Jokic had 29 points and 14 rebounds, while Jamal Murray added 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Oklahoma City received 32 points out of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but only one other OKC player produced more than 10 points.

Both teams now have two days off to recover for Game 7 in Oklahoma City on Sunday. The winner of that game will move to face Minnesota in the Western Conference Finals.
