Aaron Gordon Rips Rumor Calling Russell Westbrook 'Immature' in Video After Loss
Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon pushed back on a report that detailed the whirlwind of playing with Russell Westbrook.
Speaking to reporters after the Nuggets' 112-105 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night, Gordon ripped the story by calling it "arbitrary" and "so far from the truth" while describing Westbrook as a "great" teammate.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne published an article about the Nuggets' title chances being tied to Westbrook.
Within the story is a bit about how Gordon and Westbrook engaged in a "heated discussion" in the locker room following Denver's Game 2 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Shelburne wrote that Gordon "challenged Westbrook about his attitude."
When asked why Gordon might have challenged Westbrook like that, one Nuggets player told Shelburne the former NBA MVP is "so immature."
There has always been a high level of volatility to Westbrook throughout his career. He's capable of putting up the most astounding numbers any of us has seen, as evidenced by his MVP turn in 2016-17 by averaging a triple-double after Kevin Durant left the Thunder.
That style of play is also what has made Westbrook a lightning rod for criticism because things can turn on a dime. In this postseason alone, he had a five-game streak averaging 17.6 points on 51.7 percent shooting in 28 minutes off the bench from Game 5 against the Clippers through Game 2 against Oklahoma City.
In the last three games against the Thunder, the 36-year-old has scored a total of 18 points on 6-of-27 shooting (22.2 percent).
The Nuggets knew the risk they were taking by signing Westbrook as a free agent last summer. He has been a positive value addition, especially since his salary is only $3.3 million, but the downside is when you need to rely on him as a key player in the postseason.
If Westbrook can't turn things around in a hurry, the Nuggets will be starting their offseason soon. They will host the Thunder in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals trailing 3-2 on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET.
