Updated NBA Playoff Bracket 2025 Picture, Schedule After Knicks, Wolves Win Game 4s

Joe TanseyMay 13, 2025

The New York Knicks produced a tremendous second-half comeback to go up 3-1 on the Boston Celtics in their Eastern Conference second-round series.

New York rebounded from its Game 3 loss at Madison Square Garden with a rally from down 14 points in front of its home crowd.

Jalen Brunson and Co. could clinch a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals as soon as Wednesday.

Boston might have to attempt a series comeback without Jayson Tatum, who left with an injury late in the fourth quarter.

Another injury absence already affected the series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors.

Minnesota pulled ahead 3-1 in the series, its third consecutive win with Steph Curry not on the floor for Golden State.

The Knicks flipped Game 4 in their favor with a tremendous third quarter.

New York outscored Boston 37-23 in the third to erase an 11-point halftime deficit.

Jalen Brunson was the offensive catalyst of New York's comeback. He outdueled Jayson Tatum throughout the third quarter.

Brunson finished with 39 points and 12 assists. Eighteen of those points came in the third quarter.

Mikal Bridges delivered the dagger with 3:21 left in the fourth quarter. Bridges was one of four Knicks starters to score at least 20 points.

Jayson Tatum did everything he could to pull the Celtics back into the lead. Tatum put up a 42-point performance with seven three-pointers.

Unfortunately, Tatum had to be helped off the court late in the fourth quarter with a leg injury. His status is unknown yet.

Boston might have to win Wednesday's Game 5 without Tatum, and if that is the case, New York might be able to close out the series away from home.

NBA Playoffs Game 4: Timberwolves vs Warriors in San Francisco

Anthony Edwards led the Wolves to their Game 4 win over Warriors.

Edwards scored 16 third-quarter points to help Minnesota pull away after being down at halftime.

Minnesota outscored Golden State 39-17 in the third. The Warriors didn't have an answer for the Wolves at any point of the second half.

Edwards was the star of the show for his 30-point performance, but Julius Randle played a major role for the Wolves as well with 30 of his own points.

Randle knocked down four three-pointers as part of his best scoring output of the postseason.

The Curry-less Warriors only had one player, Jonathan Kuminga, get over 15 points. Jimmy Butler was held to 14 points. No Warriors player hit more than two three-pointers.

The wait is now on to see if Curry can return for Game 5 on Wednesday in Minnesota.
