Zion Williamson, Full List of 2025 NBA Draft Lottery Team Representatives
Zion Williams, Jared McCain and Matas Buzelis are among the active NBA players who will be representing their teams on stage at the 2025 NBA Draft lottery.
Houston Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon is also among the team representatives announced by the NBA on Monday afternoon.
The draft lottery will begin in Chicago at 7 p.m. ET. The first day of the 2025 NBA draft is set for June 25.
The Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets have the best odds to receive the No. 1 pick, followed by the New Orleans Pelicans and Philadelphia 76ers.
Because the Jazz finished the 2024-25 season with an NBA-worst 17-65 record, they can exit the lottery with the No. 5 pick at worst.
The Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs will also have a shot at the top selection.
Whichever franchise wins the lottery will have the opportunity to acquire Cooper Flagg, who bolstered his presumptive status as the top overall pick with a strong freshman season at Duke.
Other teams that end up with top-five picks on Monday could target other star prospects like Rutgers' Dylan Harper and Ace Bailey or Baylor's VJ Edgecombe.
The Pelicans have held two No. 1 picks in franchise history, which they used to select Anthony Davis in 2012 and Williamson in 2019.
The Rockets used the No. 1 selection of the 1984 draft to select Olajuwon out of Houston.
The Atlanta Hawks had just a 3 percent chance of winning the 2024 lottery before jumping up 10 slots to add Zaccharie Risacher. With former top picks like Williamson and Olajuwon waiting to go on stage, the Pelicans and Rockets will be hoping for similar luck when the lottery airs Monday night.
