TreVeyon Henderson's Absence from Patriots Minicamp Reportedly Isn't 'a Major Concern'
The New England Patriots didn't fret over the absence of running back TreVeyon Henderson on Friday at rookie minicamp, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss.
Reiss reported the matter "wasn't a major concern" internally.
Henderson was on hand for Saturday's workout. The team showed him walking onto the practice field with helmet in hand:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's unclear why the 2025 second-round pick sat out Friday.
This could've been down to some haggling over the specifics of Henderson's rookie contract. He wasn't listed when New England announced a batch of first-year signings.
Though the collective bargaining agreement lays out the broad contractual terms for every draft pick, there can occasionally be some tough negotiating over the finer details. Defensive end Shemar Stewart is locked in a minor standoff with the Cincinnati Bengals at the moment.
In the case of Henderson, the reason for his nonattendance appears to be resolved.
The former Ohio State star heads into the 2025 season with reasonably high expectations. He joins a Patriots offense in which Rhamondre Stevenson has failed to cement himself as a good No. 1 option, averaging 3.9 yards per carry and running for 1,420 yards the past two years.
Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski gave New England an "A" grade for taking Henderson on Day 2, citing his fit in a three-down role.
Depending on how the offseason unfolds, the 5'10" ball-carrier could make a compelling case to be the starter in Week 1.
