2025 NFL Offseason Trade Block Big Board After NFL Draft

Kristopher KnoxMay 6, 2025

With the 2025 NFL draft now complete, the league is approaching its second prime trade window of the offseason.

There are a few reasons why trade activity tends to pick back up after the draft. For one, hundreds of new players just joined NFL rosters, so some teams now have a surplus of talent in certain positions.

Secondly, with rookie minicamps and organized team activities (OTAs) set to begin this month, some veterans are likely to be pushed to the bottoms of depth charts.

June 1 also looms as a notable date for teams interested in dealing players. Contracts traded after that date can have their dead-money cap hits spread over the next two years instead of impacting 2025 alone, much like the contracts of players released with a post-June 1 designation.

The big unknown is who might be traded and where they could land. Here, you'll find Bleacher Report's updated post-draft trade big board based on factors like player upside, past production, positional value, contract status and any relevant recent buzz.

The Selection Process

As we do during the regular season and did with our post-Super Bowl trade block big board, we began with 15 players who have been the subject of trade chatter or would be logical trade candidates based on factors like age, recent production contract value and cap space. 2025 draft classes and their impact on team rosters and position groups were also considered.

Contracts and cap implications are usually the biggest motivators for teams looking to sell in the offseason. However, players whose eventual replacements were just drafted may also end up as trade chips.

Meanwhile, many teams that didn't fill their biggest needs over draft weekend will be looking to buy.

Players were then ranked on talent, positional value and likely availability to reach our top 10. Our post-draft honorable mentions are:

D'Andre Swift, RB, Chicago Bears

Jameis Winston, QB, New York Giants

Mark Andrews, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions

Jerome Ford, RB, Cleveland Browns

10. Joe Flacco, QB, Cleveland Browns

2 of 11
Jets Browns Football

The Cleveland Browns might not have a great quarterback room, but they have a full one. After trading for Kenny Pickett and signing Joe Flacco, the Browns drafted quarterbacks Dillion Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.

Flacco will presumably serve as the Browns' veteran bridge while they audition Pickett, Gabriel and Sanders for the future. However, if one of the youngsters emerges as a viable starter early in the offseason, Flacco could be expendable.

Flacco did help Cleveland reach the playoffs two years ago after taking over in the wake of Deshaun Watson's season-ending shoulder injury. However, he's 40 years old, and the Browns probably aren't keeping four quarterbacks on their final 53-man roster.

The Indianapolis Colts could look to bring back Flacco—who made six starts in Indy last season—if their quarterback competition between Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones underwhelms.

The Pittsburgh Steelers may also have interest in a veteran like Flacco if Aaron Rodgers doesn't sign with them. The 41-year-old has yet to decide whether he'll play in 2025, but Pittsburgh does have interest in adding him.

"That’s certainly a possibility,” head coach Mike Tomlin told NFL Network (h/t Pro Football Talk's Josh Alper. “I’m not going to forecast the ifs and whens regarding not only him, but any other potential free agent. We’ve had really productive talks with him."

The Browns might ask for a premium if they were to trade a quarterback to a division rival, though.

Potential Suitors: Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers

9. Najee Harris, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Steelers Ravens Football

Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh loves to lead with the ground game, so there might be no such thing as having too much running back depth. However, there is a scenario in which the Chargers could be willing to trade running back Najee Harris, whom they signed to a one-year, $5.25 million deal in free agency.

The Chargers drafted their running back of the future when they took Omarion Hampton with the No. 22 overall pick. They might also be able to bring back 2024 starter J.K. Dobbins, who remains unsigned.

Harris would have value on the trade market. While he was never a high-end starter in Pittsburgh, he was a durable high-volume back who topped 1,000 rushing yards in all four of his NFL seasons.

A return to Pittsburgh could make sense, even though the Steelers added Kaleb Johnson in Round 3. If the Steelers believe they can make a run with Aaron Rodgers or another veteran QB this season, they'll need a fortified backfield.

The Dallas Cowboys could also be interested in Harris. They added former starters Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams in free agency before drafting Jaydon Blue in Round 5, but none of them are surefire starters. Adding Harris to that mix would be sensible.

8. George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Steelers Bengals Football

The Steelers aren't looking to rebuild. They would instead prefer to make a run in 2025 with a veteran quarterback like Aaron Rodgers. However, they could still move off wide receiver George Pickens before the 2025 trade window ends.

Pickens is entering the final year of his contract, and the Steelers replaced him as their No. 1 target with DK Metcalf this offseason. The 24-year-old could be traded, though perhaps not right away.

As Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette recently theorized, Pickens could become a trade chip in the Steelers' quest for a top 2026 quarterback prospect.

"They have a plan and yes, they will have to make a package and trade up in the first round," Dulac wrote. "That's where someone like George Pickens comes into play."

If the Steelers don't find a quarterback before the season or are struggling at the trade deadline, Pickens will be a reasonable target for receiver-needy teams.

The Cowboys could be interested as they continue their quest to find a strong No. 2 receiver opposite CeeDee Lamb. The Arizona Cardinals could also have interest as they look to put a quality receiver opposite Marvin Harrison Jr.

Potential Suitors: Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys

7. Cole Kmet, TE, Chicago Bears

5 of 11
Bears Lions Football

The Chicago Bears probably won't shopt standout tight end Cole Kmet in the coming months. However, the 26-year-old looms as a potential trade target for teams that need a pass-catcher at the position, as the Bears just used the 10th overall pick on Michigan tight end Colston Loveland.

The former Wolverine has all the tools needed to become a star under new head coach Ben Johnson, much like Sam LaPorta did during his time as the Detroit Lions' offensive coordinator.

"Loveland is a natural pass-catcher and playmaker at the tight end position," Dame Parson of the Bleacher Report Scouting Department wrote. "His athleticism, change of direction and movement skills are impressive."

Kmet has three years left on his contract with cap hits of $11.6 million in each season. Chicago might not want to pay that much for a No. 2 tight end.

The New England Patriots should be interested in Kmet if he becomes available. They need to put pass-catchers around second-year quarterback Drake Maye, and Kmet could be a long-term option for them at tight end.

The Chargers could also look to add Kmet as a more dynamic pass-catcher than Tyler Conklin or Will Dissly. Kmet has 258 catches for 2,592 yards and 19 touchdowns in his five NFL seasons.

Potential Suitors: Los Angeles Chargers, New England Patriots

6. Trey Hendrickson, Edge, Cincinnati Bengals

6 of 11
Steelers Bengals Football

If he played for any other team, pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson would rank far higher on this list. The NFL's reigning sacks leader is a terrific defender, should have a few great years ahead of him and has already asked for a trade.

While the Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly entertained trade conversations about Hendrickson, they don't seem to be in a hurry to move him.

"They're being unreasonable," one executive said of the Bengals' predraft demands, according to Jason La Canfora of the Washington Post.

The Bengals did use their first-round pick on pass-rusher Shemar Stewart, so perhaps their trade demands will come down moving forward. However, they could try to keep Hendrickson by pricing other teams out of the trade market.

If their stance changes, Hendrickson should shoot toward the top of most teams' trade boards. Teams that should already be interested in adding him include the Detroit Lions, who still need a No. 2 pass-rusher opposite Aidan Hutchinson.

The Indianapolis Colts should also be interested, as they now employ former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo in the same capacity.

Potential Suitors: Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts

5. Germaine Pratt, LB, Cincinnati Bengals

7 of 11
Eagles Bengals Football

We've ranked linebacker Germaine Pratt one spot higher than Trey Hendrickson because the Bengals may be more open to trading the former at a reasonable price.

Like Hendrickson, Pratt has requested a trade, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero. Cincinnati may be more open to moving him after selecting linebackers Demetrius Knight Jr. and Barrett Carter in the draft.

Pratt should interest just about any team in need of a quality off-ball linebacker. The Bengals defensive tallied 143 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles in 2024, and he has played at least 15 games in all six of his NFL campaigns.

The Colts, who employ former Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo, should consider bringing Pratt into the fold. Indy ranked 29th in total defense last season, and Pratt "was close" to Anarumo, according to Rapoport.

The Los Angeles Rams may also want to kick the tires on Pratt. They entered the offseason needing to upgrade their defensive back seven, but they didn't draft an off-ball linebacker before taking Mississippi's Chris Paul Jr. in the fifth round.

Potential Suitors: Indianapolis Colts, Los Angeles Rams

4. Jaire Alexander, CB, Green Bay Packers

8 of 11
Packers Cowboys Football

A team interested in Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander may be able to acquire him via trade, though the two-time Pro Bowler would reportedly prefer to hit the open market.

Alexander "would rather be cut so he can pick his destination, and he might not be willing to help with a contract adjustment to facilitate a trade," Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated recently wrote.

The Packers are "in the market to trade" Alexander, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. While he may not accept a pay cut to get a deal done, Green Bay will likely deal him for the right price.

In the past, Alexander has been among the league's top cover corners when healthy. However, injuries have limited him to 14 games over the past two seasons.

Alexander's trade market might primarily be teams that believe they can contend in 2025 and are willing to take a chance on his health. Breer named the Kansas City Chiefs as a potential landing spot for Alexander, and they didn't add a cornerback in the draft before taking Nohl Williams in Round 3.

The Baltimore Ravens, who ranked 31st in passing yards allowed last season, could also have interest in Alexander. Baltimore didn't draft a corner before taking Bilhal Kone in Round 6.

Potential Suitors: Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs

3. Kayvon Thibodeaux, Edge, New York Giants

9 of 11
Giants Commanders Football

There hasn't been any firm trade chatter surrounding edge-rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, and the New York Giants did recently exercise the fifth-year option on his contract. However, his future in New York remains unclear. The Giants traded for pass-rusher Brian Burns last offseason and then selected Abdul Carter with the third overall pick in April's draft.

Carter has the potential to be a franchise-caliber sack artist, while the Giants gave Burns a five-year, $141 million extension after trading for him. Thibodeaux, the fifth overall pick in 2022, could end up being the odd man out of New York's long-term plans.

Now would be a great time for teams to inquire about Thibodeaux's availability. He's coming off an injury-impacted season (wrist), but he had 11.5 sacks in 2023 and won't turn 25 until December.

The Carolina Panthers could look to pair Thibodeaux with second-round rookie Nic Scourton and third-round rookie Princely Umanmielen to form an exciting young edge rotation. Jadeveon Clowney was Carolina's top edge-rusher in 2024, but he turned 32 in February.

The Packers, who didn't add edge help until taking Barryn Sorrell in Round 4, should also see if Thibodeaux can be had. Perhaps they could acquire him for a package that includes Jaire Alexander.

Potential Suitors: Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers

2. Kirk Cousins, QB, Atlanta Falcons

10 of 11
Falcons Raiders Football

If a team is willing to take on the remainder of Kirk Cousins' contract and provide him with a starting opportunity, it can probably add him between now and the start of training camp.

Cousins is set to carry a $40 million cap hit as Michael Penix Jr.'s backup in Atlanta this season. However, the Falcons could save $27.5 million by trading Cousins after June 1.

Atlanta has reportedly had discussions about dealing Cousins, who got the Falcons out to a 6-3 start this past season before suffering shoulder and elbow injuries to his throwing arm.

Atlanta would have to convince Cousins to waive his no-trade clause, but he might only do so for a team that would give him a real opportunity to start in 2025. After the draft, there aren't many obvious destinations for him.

The Colts and Steelers are currently the two most logical trade candidates since neither added a quarterback in the draft before Day 3. Indy could turn to Cousins if the Daniel Jones/Anthony Richardson QB competition goes awry. The Steelers will probably turn to Cousins if Aaron Rodgers decides not to play this season.

"The Steelers have signaled, and even publicly expressed, their confidence that Rodgers will wind up on their roster," Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer wrote. "And if he doesn’t, I’d imagine they’d explore a trade for Kirk Cousins."

Other suitors could emerge if a team loses its starter to an injury between now and the trade deadline.

Potential Suitors: Indianapolis Colts, Pittsburgh Steelers

1. Jalen Ramsey, CB, Miami Dolphins

11 of 11
Raiders Dolphins Football

Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey can also reportedly be had for the right offer. At this point, it feels like more of a matter of when a trade gets done than if the seven-time Pro Bowler finds a new home.

"Whenever it happens, we will make the deal at the appropriate time," general manager Chris Grier said of a Ramsey trade after the draft, per Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

Though Ramsey will turn 31 in October, he remains a reliable starter when healthy. This past season, he allowed an opposing passer rating of only 83.2 in coverage. He's a great player at a premium position who is actively on the trade market.

Practically any cornerback-needy team should have some level of interest in Ramsey, though his age may make him best suited for teams with open playoff windows. The Los Angeles Rams, who traded Ramsey to Miami in 2023, could be among the interested parties.

"Those conversations are ongoing, as I’m sure they are with multiple teams," Rams head coach Sean McVay told SiriusXM NFL Radio of a possible Ramsey trade (h/t Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.

The Bengals should also kick the tires on a Ramsey deal. Cincinnati is looking to get back in the playoff mix with an improved defense but has done virtually nothing to improve its cornerback room.
