The NBA will have a massive influx of youth when the 2025 draft rolls around this summer.

The league announced on Tuesday that 106 players declared for this year's draft as early entry candidates, led by projected top-two picks Cooper Flagg of Duke and Dylan Harper of Rutgers:

One name notably missing from the list is UConn junior forward Alex Karaban, who initially declared for the NBA draft prior to this past Saturday's deadline but withdrew before the early entry list was released. ESPN's Jonathan Givony reported that the two-time national champion will be returning to the Huskies for his senior season.

Flagg is universally regarded as the No. 1 prospect in this year's draft class following his stellar freshman year at Duke that culminated with the Wooden Award and National Player of the Year honors. He averaged 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks across 37 games to help lead the Blue Devils to the Final Four and a 35-4 finish to the year.

"Flagg had a spectacular season, improbably exceeding every expectation placed on him in the preseason, creating zero questions around whom the No. 1 pick will be on draft night," Givony stated in ESPN's draft big board. "Just the fourth freshman to win the Wooden Award as the most outstanding player in college basketball, Flagg brought exceptional competitiveness and defensive versatility while impacting the game in every facet."

Harper also turned heads during his spectacular freshman season at Rutgers, averaging 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 seals. He stole attention from fellow Rutgers freshman Ace Bailey, who was the No. 2 overall recruit in the class of 2024 behind Flagg. Many expect that Harper will be the second name called on draft night.

It will be fun to see how things play out when the NBA draft commences on June 25 with the first round, followed by the second round on June 26. This year's class is full of talented young players who can make a difference immediately at the next level.
