Despite an outstanding state line, it wasn't all positive for Broome in the Elite Eight as he missed time after an injury scare. In the second half, Broome came down awkwardly while trying to block a shot and had to head to the locker room for X-rays. Luckily for Auburn, he was back on the court a few minutes later to help close out the game.
After the game, fans applauded Broome and Auburn for taking care of business.
The Tigers will now have a matchup with top-seeded Florida in the Final Four, with a spot in the championship on the line. It would be the first championship appearance for Auburn in school history, but the Tigers can't look too far ahead as the Gators have been one of the best teams in the country over the past few weeks.
