Final Four 2025: Schedule, Odds, Predictions for NCAA Men's Tournament Bracket Semis

Nicholas NathansonMar 30, 2025

One word sums up this year's tournament: chalk.

For just the second-ever time (2008), the Final Four consists of all No. 1 seeds.

However, before you voice your dissatisfaction, consider the following: Florida is making its first appearance in the Final Four since 2014, while Auburn and Houston have never won a national championship.

Future lottery pick Cooper Flagg was only eight years old when the Duke Blue Devils last won a national championship in 2015.

All season long, these have been the top four teams, laying the groundwork for what promises to be an exciting Final Four.

Below, we'll take a look at the schedule for the NCAA men's Final Four and ultimate predictions for both games.

Odds and Predictions

2 of 2
NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament - Elite Eight - San Francisco

No. 1 Florida (-2.5) vs. No. 1 Auburn (O/U: 162.5)

Florida is returning to the Final Four for the first time since 2014, and all of Gainesville, FL, should be thanking senior guard Walter Clayton Jr.

In their Elite Eight matchup against Texas Tech, Clayton Jr. finished with a game-high 30 points, including a pair of improbable three-pointers in the final two minutes to erase the Gators' double-digit deficit and keep their dominant season alive.

The Gators are second in offensive efficiency per KenPom and have only lost twice since February 14.

If you make even the slightest mistake, the Gators will take advantage of it. Just ask Texas Tech or UConn.

But Auburn is not Texas Tech or UConn.

Led by Wooden Award finalist Johni Broome, Auburn boasts the third-most efficient offense in the country per KenPom.

To say this team has depth would be an understatement. Aside from Broome, four other players average double-digit point totals, including freshman sensation Tahaad Pettiford.

Furthermore, the Tigers will enter Saturday's game with vengeance on their mind after the Gators stunningly ended their 14-game win streak earlier in the season.

While this one could go either way, Clayton Jr. and the nation's best backcourt should be able to do just enough to fuel the Gators into the national championship game.

Prediction: Florida over Auburn

No. 1 Houston vs. No. 1 Duke (-4.5) (O/U: 136.5)

Duke has bulldozed their way through the NCAAM tournament, winning their first four games by 94 points.

In the Elite Eight, the Blue Devils' defense stymied one of the nation's best offenses in Alabama to just 65 points.

Cooper Flagg and Co. are the only team in the nation to rank in the top five in both offensive and defensive efficiency, per KenPom.

But the Blue Devils haven't faced a team like Houston this season.

The Cougars have the nation's most efficient defense, per KenPom, and surrender a league-fewest 58.5 points per game.

After narrowly avoiding upset threats against Gonzaga and Purdue, Houston dominated No. 2 seed Tennessee in the Elite Eight, limiting the Volunteers to just 15 points in the first half.

On the offensive end, the Cougars rank 10th in offensive efficiency per KenPom and shoot 39.7 percent from beyond the arc— their highest mark in a single season since at least 1997–98.

However, Duke has kept its last three opponents to 33.7 percent from three-point range, including an Arizona team that shot 12-26 from beyond the arc.

Defensive-minded games like these will be a significant change for Duke's nation-leading offense. However, the Blue Devils will have a significant advantage if they can limit Houston to play within the three-point line, where they currently hit 48.5 percent of their shots—10 percent lower than Duke.

No matter the game style or tempo, Duke has more than enough firepower to secure its spot in the championship game.

According to DraftKings, Duke (+110) has the best odds to win the title entering the Final Four. Florida (+250), Houston (+400) and Auburn (+475) round out the rest of the Final Four teams.

Prediction: Duke over Houston
