Jimmy Butler's Miami coffee shop had some fun at the expense of the Golden State Warriors prior to an upcoming matchup between the star forward and his former team.
Butler posted an image on his Instagram story of a card explaining that all coffee sold to Warriors employees will be $30.
Butler suited up for the Miami Heat in each of the previous five seasons before he requested a trade from the organization on Jan. 2. He was eventually dealt to the Warriors in a massive five-team swap prior to the Feb. 6 deadline, with the Heat receiving a package headlined by Andrew Wiggins and a protected 2025 first-round pick.
The six-time All-Star has thrived following the change of scenery, averaging 17.6 points and 6.5 assists to go along with 6.1 rebounds per game in 19 appearances following the trade. He's also shooting 43.8 percent from the field.
In Butler's 19 games played, the Warriors are 16-3 and sit at No. 6 in the Western Conference standings with a 41-30 record on the season.
Miami has struggled since moving Butler, owning a 29-41 record. The Heat have been defeated in 10 straight games, representing the NBA's longest active losing streak.
Butler will face off against his old team for the first time since the trade on Tuesday, with the Warriors traveling to play the Heat in Miami.
Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
