Zach BacharMar 16, 2025

The full 68-team field for the 2025 NCAA men's basketball tournament was released on Sunday, with several schools emerging as early favorites.

Duke is favored to win the national title at +310, via DraftKings Sportsbook. Auburn holds the second-best odds at +380, while Florida sits at No. 3 with +400 odds.

Houston received the fourth-highest odds to win the tournament at +650, with Tennessee rounding out the top five by owning +1500 odds.

Duke's status as the favorite doesn't come as a major surprise, owning a 28-3 record to go along with the No. 1 spot in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.

The Blue Devils are also coming off an ACC Tournament victory, winning the final two contests without the presence of star freshman Cooper Flagg due to an ankle sprain.

Flagg, the 2024-25 ACC Player of the Year, is expected to return in time for the start of March Madness.

Auburn was selected as the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament despite suffering losses in three of its past four contests, which included a 70-65 defeat at the hands of Tennessee in the semifinal round of the SEC tournament.

Still, the Tigers will enter March Madness with a 28-5 overall record to go along with an elite offense. Led by standout forward Johni Broome, Auburn's scoring average of 83.8 points per game ranked No. 10 in the country.

Florida is entering the NCAA Tournament with momentum following its SEC tournament victory, currently riding a six-game win streak. The Gators have looked sharp on both ends of the floor as of late, winning their three conference tournament matchups by a combined 45 points.

The favorites will be in action once the first round of the NCAA Tournament starts on Thursday.
