Cooper Flagg, No. 2 Duke Beat UNC, Excite CBB Fans by Winning ACC Regular-Season Title

The Duke Blue Devils ended the 2024-25 regular season in style.

A balanced scoring attack helped power the Blue Devils to a 82-69 victory over arch-rival North Carolina to cap off an excellent regular season.

Kon Knueppel led the Blue Devils with 17 points and also contributed three assists and two rebounds. Tyrese Proctor and Sion James had 16 points each while star freshman Cooper Flagg had 15 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

R.J. Davis led the Tar Heels with 20 points.

Fans took to social media to praise Duke's performance and project the team's chances in the postseason.

The Blue Devils finished the regular season 28-3 and the ACC slate at 19-1. They will hold the top seed in the conference tournament and look like a major contender for the NCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Tournament.

North Carolina finishes the regular season 20-12 and 13-7 within the ACC. The Tar Heels will need a strong conference tournament run to qualify for March Madness.
