SEC Tournament 2025: Schedule, Bracketology Predictions for Men's Conference Tourney
The SEC is the best conference in men's college basketball this season.
That sounds like a subjective take but feels much more like an objective observation. Four of the top six teams in KenPom's efficiency ranks reside in this conference. Four more slot into its top 25. The high-end talent and depth of this conference is staggering.
That bodes nothing but good things for the upcoming SEC Tournament. It also speaks to this fact this conference should be better represented than anyone at March Madness.
Speaking of both events, we'll lay out the SEC Tournament schedule and then dive into some bracket predictions for the NCAA Tournament.

Who's In?
2 of 3
Want to know how deep this conference is? It will send three different schools with "Miss." in their names to the Big Dance.
OK, there really isn't a ton else to be said about Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Missouri, beyond the fact they are comfortably in the tournament and nowhere near a top seed. Let's just go ahead and apply that to Vanderbilt, too.
Want to know how stacked the SEC is at the top? Auburn is already locked into a No. 1 seed, and three other schools have a reasonable hope of still landing one. Granted, those three schools—Florida, Tennessee and Alabama—are vying for the same spot, but just having all three in the running is pretty special.
Don't forget about Texas A&M or Kentucky, either. They're still firmly in the fight for No. 3 seeds.
That's 10 teams in the tournament already, and our crystal ball thinks this conference still has two more. Both Georgia and Arkansas might enter as double-digit seeds—and the Razorbacks perhaps wind up in the Play-In Game—but they should still get an invite to make it a clean dozen tournament teams for the SEC.
Who's Out?
3 of 3
There are 16 schools in this conference, and despite sending 12 of them to the tournament, there are, in fact, still a couple more on the bubble.
No, we're not talking about LSU or South Carolina, the only afterthoughts in this conference. The spotlight instead lands on Oklahoma and Texas, two teams with more work to do if they want to enjoy Selection Sunday.
They close out the regular season against one another, so the winner of that contest probably holds the better tournament chances. That said, it feels like both will be undone by the depth of this conference. Each is limping to the finish line, with Texas having dropped six of its last eight and Oklahoma losing seven of its last nine.
Maybe one does enough at the conference tournament to snag a spot, but our crystal ball can't see it happening.
