ACC Tournament 2025: Complete Schedule and Updated Men's Bracketology Predictions
Since 2001, the ACC Conference has sent at least four teams to the annual men's NCAA Basketball Tournament.
But this year has been an outlier.
Right now, bracketology experts such as ESPN’s Joe Lunardi and CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm have projected that only three teams will earn bids.
With the conference tournament set to kick off next week from Charlotte, NC, bubble teams such as North Carolina, Wake Forest, and SMU will all need multiple wins to boost their tournament resume ahead of Selection Sunday.
But that'll be a tall task, especially in a conference where the discrepancy between the top three seeds and the rest of the pack has been astounding.
The top three seeds (Duke, Louisville, and Clemson) have lost five conference games combined.
Duke—likely to be a No. 1 seed come Selection Sunday—has bulldozed its way through the ACC, winning 18 of 19—15 of which came by double digits.
Meanwhile, Clemson has won seven straight and 13 of their last 14, with impressive Quad 1 victories over Duke and Kentucky, while Louisville has won eight straight.
Unlike previous years, the bottom three teams will not qualify for the conference tournament given the addition of three new conference teams this past season.
With the tournament beginning next week, here's everything you need to know from scheduling to ultimate predictions.

Bracket Predictions
2 of 2
With Duke's 33-point rout of Wake Forest this past Monday, the Blue Devils clinched at least a share of the regular season conference championship for the first time since 2022 and the third time since 2010.
On Saturday, Cooper Flagg and Co. can secure sole possession of the regular season conference championship with a win over rival North Carolina or a Clemson loss.
Come Selection Sunday, Duke is nearly certain to be a No. 1 seed and in search of their first regular season title and tournament title in the same season since 2009-10; their double-bye also guarantees them a spot in the quarterfinal.
The Blue Devils could face difficulties with either North Carolina or SMU in the semifinal round—especially given both teams' desperation to show the committee they are worthy of a bid.
However, assuming they handle North Carolina on Saturday, Duke will avoid both Clemson and Louisville until the championship.
The Blue Devils have owned the ACC all year, and it's quite likely they'll get another crack at Clemson in the championship game, this time coming out on the winning end.
Prediction: Duke over Clemson
