Video: Lonzo, LiAngelo React to LaVar Ball Saying He'd Drop 70 on MJ with 1 Foot
LaVar Ball has always been confident in his basketball abilities, and that confidence hasn't wavered even after having his foot amputated because of a medical issue.
He recently claimed that he can drop 70 points on Michael Jordan.
"People been saying I still can't beat Michael Jordan one-on-one, especially without my foot," Ball said. "Well, guess what? If I really wanted to, I can give him 70 and an a--whooping."
His sons gave their thoughts about his claim on Lonzo Ball's podcast, What an Experience with Lonzo Ball.
"I'll say the first word that comes to mind is physicality," Lonzo said (8:55 mark). "Big Baller used to lowkey hoop with us till I was like 10... He's about to take somebody out with that spin... I've only seen him lose like one game my whole life."
Though Ball has basketball experience, playing in college, putting up 70 on one of the greatest players of all time seems like a bit of a stretch, even though Jordan retired more than 20 years ago.
Ball has been calling out Jordan for years, and the Chicago Bulls legend responded in 2017.
"You got to understand the source. I think he played college, maybe? He averaged 2.2 points a game. Really? It doesn't deserve a response, but I'ma give it to you because you asked the question," Jordan said. "I don't think he could beat me if I was one-legged."
We'll probably never seen Ball and Jordan play one-on-one, but it would be interesting to watch the two go at it in their primes.
