Billboard: LiAngelo Ball's 'Tweaker' Has Generated $640K Since Jan. 3 Release
Timothy Rapp
Elizabeth Dilts Marshall of Billboard estimated that LiAngelo Ball's song "Tweaker" has generated "nearly $640,000" since its Jan. 3 release.
Per that report, "The song's more than 90 million total on-demand streams helped it generate $476,500 from master recording rights and $161,500 from publishing. These calculations are for label and publisher revenue. The artists' share of these figures depend on their contracts, which are not known."
It also led to a record deal for Ball with Def Jam and Universal Music Group, reportedly worth up $13 million, and a half-time performance during the NBA's All-Star Weekend.
