Cooper Flagg shined in Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, leading No. 3 Duke to a lopsided 110-67 win over Illinois.
The Blue Devils cruised to victory, taking a 10-point lead with just over 11 minutes remaining in the first half and maintaining a 17-point advantage at halftime. They led by as many as 45 points in the second half.

Flagg continued his stellar freshman season, finishing with 16 points and seven rebounds to go along with five assists in just 23 minutes on the floor.
He shot 5-10 from the field, hitting his only three-point attempt of the night.
Fans praised his performance.
Duke was unstoppable offensively throughout the evening, shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from behind the arc as a team. The Blue Devils also racked up 28 assists compared to a mere six turnovers.
Flagg wasn't the only contributor for Duke, as all five starters scored at least 11 points. Freshman guard Isaiah Evans made his presence felt off the bench, recording a game-high 17 points while hitting three triples.
Head coach Jon Scheyer's team has now won four straight games since a loss to Clemson on Feb. 8, with each victory containing a double-digit final margin.
Flagg and the Blue Devils will look to continue building momentum in their next matchup, a clash with Miami on Tuesday.
