
Cooper Flagg, No. 3 Duke Rout Stanford as CBB Fans Hype Tyrese Proctor's Breakout
Tyrese Proctor continued his heater with 23 points and Cooper Flagg added 19 as No. 3 Duke men's basketball rolled to a 106-70 home win over Stanford on Saturday afternoon.
Proctor scored 17 first-half points to propel Duke to its second straight wire-to-wire victory. The junior guard finished 9-of-13 shooting (5-of-8 from three) en route to a 36-point blowout that featured Duke scoring its season-high in points.
Proctor tied his season-high in points, which was first established last Saturday against Clemson. He's in the midst of a stellar five-game stretch, averaging 19.4 points on 53.8 percent shooting (48.6 percent from three).

His three-pointer early in the first half kick-started an 8-0 Blue Devils run that blossomed into a 29-9 stretch.
A 13-all tie turned into a 42-22 lead, and Duke never looked back. Proctor scored 10 of Duke's 29 points during that run.
As is typically the case, Flagg had another solid game, adding six assists, five rebounds and two steals to his scoring output. Khaman Maluach (17 points), Sion James (14 points) and Caleb Foster (10 points) also finished in double figures.
Duke was remarkably efficient on offense, hitting 62.5 percent of its field goals and dishing 23 assists to just five turnovers.
Saturday marked Duke's second straight win after suffering its only ACC loss thus far, a 77-71 defeat to Clemson. The Blue Devils responded with a 78-57 home win over Cal before taking care of business against Stanford.
Proctor was the story in this latest victory, with fans raving about his recent efforts.
The 22-3 Blue Devils (14-1 in ACC play) will now travel to Virginia to play the Cavaliers on Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
