Nike Air Jordan 6 Low Retro 'Infrared' Release Date, Pics and Retail Price
Nike pays homage to a classic with the release of the Air Jordan 6 Low Retro "Infrared" Saturday, just in time for the holidays.
This low-top offering follows the same pattern of those before it with smart usage of whites, blacks and infrared accents along the bottom, perhaps perfect colors to go with a bevy of fireworks.
Here's a look at the release details, per Sneaker Bar Detroit:
Foot Locker provides the first look at the classic design turned modern:

There's no understating this fresh take on a classic design. The Jumpman is there on the tongue, blaring red in all its glory. The familiar perforations line the sides and the bottom offers the infrared dash of necessary color.
SneakerNews.com provides a zoom on the colorful siding of the shoe, as well as a hint at the back design:
The same account takes a closer look at the back, which touts a smooth all-white Jumpman:
The side and back isn't where the fun ends, folks. Sneaker Bar Detroit flips one of the shoes over to showcase the epic Jumpman design and splashes of icy blue on the bottom, even turning down the lights to emphasize the "infrared" portion of the shoe:
Villa provides a look at the shoes in a more natural environment:
As a total package, it is hard to find any fault with this take on the Jordan 6 Retro. Some prefer the comfort of a low design, and it's hard to imagine these won't hold up well on the hard court if it's how an owner wants to use them.
The market needed a smart low edition of the shoe and gets it in an edition that plays the colors to perfection while still sticking true to the original inspiration.
Fresh takes on classics don't get much better than this, so keep an eye out for the Jordan 6 Retro Low "Infrared" beginning Saturday.
