Draymond Green Dons Customized WWE Champion Belt, Achieves Full Heel Status

Dan CarsonJun 23, 2015

Four days after Draymond Green took over the Golden State Warriors victory parade and baptized the city of Oakland in cheap champagne, "Dray Day" continues to roll in the only way it can.

Green posted an Instagram collage of his latest post-championship get: a customized WWE champion belt.

The belt features the Warriors logo in addition to the WWE lettering. While I wouldn't put it past Green to have this specially made, I can't rule out the WWE sending him a gift as it angles in on a born heel with real potential in the ring.

This is his destiny, mind you. Draymond Green is a natural heel who ended up playing basketball due to a paucity of WWE Raw events in the Saginaw, Michigan, area as a youth. Even in his early days, he had the look of a guy who'd stare into your soul before flying off the top rope.

So it wasn't if Green would eventually hoist the belt, but when.

Dan is on Twitter. "Dray Day" is a state of mind.
